Working hand in hand in the recovery of La Palma after the eruption of the volcano, with the scientific authorities and counting on the involvement of several agencies such as the Geological and Mining Institute of Spain (IGME), the Eduardo Torroja Institute of Sciences of the Constuction, the CSIC and the Polytechnic of Madrid, they study the use of materials generated in the volcanic eruption for reconstruction.
Project based mainly on the use of pyroclasts (solid fragment of volcanic material that reaches the atmosphere as a result of the eruption of a volcano and then falls on the surface) for use in high-quality building materials, cement production, insulating and conductive materials, agricultural service materials, etc...
