At the meeting on December 15, two agreements were signed for the allocation of subsidies for the repair of infrastructure, equipment and municipal facilities damaged by the volcanic eruption, the first with the Island Council of La Palma and the second with the City of Los Llanos de Aridane.

The Minister highlighted the positive aspect of shared management between public administrations, in emergency situations such as the Cumbre Vieja volcano.

With this new aid, a total of 38.5 million euros have been distributed, from the Ministry of Territorial Policy, for the repair of the island.
