Accommodation of displaced persons in hotels
- During the eruption of the volcano the Government of the Canary Islands allocated 3.92 million for the relocation of 562 evicted in different hotel and extra-hotel accommodations, with the assistance of two of the island’s tourism associations, CIT Tedote La Palma and ASDETUR.
- As of February 28, 2021, the management and financing of the rehousing of people corresponds to the island administration, whose cost amounts to more than 6 million euros.

Acquisition of housing
The Government of Spain has allocated 5.5 million euros to finance housing for temporary accommodation for those affected. The remaining amount has been assumed by the Canary Islands administration.
- 135 publicly or privately owned dwellings for temporary or permanent accommodation of families affected by the loss or damage of their habitual dwellings
- 121 prefabricated modular houses, financed and managed by the Government of the Canary Islands, for an amount of 7.1 million euros. Of these, 36 are made of wood and the remaining 85 are made up of two containers.
- To date, 264 homes for state or regional acquisition have been delivered to families.
Likewise, the City of Los Llanos and the Canary Federation of Municipalities (FECAM) have contributed to the acquisition of homes with the donation of 4 houses and 1 million euros, respectively.
Aid for rent
There are currently 537 palm families that are receiving such assistance, worth 4.3 million euros.
Aids for Appliances
The State Administration made a transfer of 5.5 million euros to facilitate the purchase of basic necessities, subsequently, the State Administration has made an additional transfer of 6.5 million euros to the Government of the Canary Islands to facilitate the purchase of basic necessities, which has allowed the payment of the 609 subsidies that were pending to complete this action.
In total, the number of cases resolved amounts to 1,030 with a total amount of 11.5 million euros.
