Historical and Cultural Service of the Air Force (1972-1983). It is created to direct and coordinate the study and dissemination of aeronautical history and science, as well as the history of Spanish aviation. Its organization and functions were established by Order 32/1984, of May 25. SHYCEA’s specific missions include cataloguing, protecting, preserving, researching and disseminating the Air Force’s historical, cultural, documentary and bibliographic heritage.
