The National Library of Spain (BNE) will host tomorrow, February 25, the Azaña conference, a digital journey through the National Library of Spain, which will be taught by Jesús Cañete, doctor of Philology and co-curator of the exhibition Azaña: intellectual and statesman. At 80 years of his death in exile.
In this conference, framed in the Café Azaña cycle, a tour will be made of the main documents (books, newspapers, magazines, photographs, posters, music) linked to the life and work of Manuel Azaña and found in the Hispanic Digital Library of the BNE, which has an enormous amount of digitized materials, freely available and free of charge.
Café Azaña is a cycle of talks that is part of the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the death of Manuel Azaña in exile. These events have been organized by the Ministry of the Presidency, Relations with the Courts and Democratic Memory, through the Secretary of State for Democratic Memory, in collaboration with Acción Cultural Española, and together with public and private bodies.
