The National Library will host the round table on Thursday, January 21, at 7:00 p.m. Azaña: intellectual and statesman within the commemorative events of the 80th anniversary of Azaña's death in exile.
This event, organized by the State Secretariat of Democratic Memory, the National Library of Spain, and Acción Cultural Española, aims to explain the content of the exhibition Azaña: intellectual and statesman80 years after his death in exile, which can be visited in the National Library, in addition to the different facets of life and to the spare of this politician and intellectual.
This round table will be attended by Ángeles Egido, curator of the exhibition and professor of Contemporary History (UNED); Jesús Cañete, co-curator of the exhibition and doctor in Philology; Marifé Santiago, tenured professor of Aesthetics and Theory of the Arts at the Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC), Madrid and José Antonio Gómez Municio, writer, journalist specializing in cultural affairs and cultural manager.
This act ensures the implementation of the necessary security measures to prevent the spread of COVID 19. Attendance at the meeting, which will take place in the Assembly Hall of the National Library, is limited to 48 people. Those who wish to attend have to fill out this Registration form.
