The 42nd edition of the International Classical Theatre Festival of Almagro hosts in its programming, on July 27, the dramatized reading "Tamar and Amón, Tribute to my teachers Margarita Xirgu and José Estruch, militants of life and art".
Under the direction of Levón, the performance is starred by the actress Estela Medina, who is accompanied on stage by the singer Sara Sabah.From "La venganza de Tamar", by Tirso de Molina, the show, which has the support of the National Institute of Performing Arts of Uruguay, makes a reflection on the republican exile and its impact on art and culture. The Cervantes Institute and the Interministerial Commission for the Commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the Spanish Republican Exile collaborate.
