Civil guards of the Fiscal and Border Section of the Bilbao airport have intervened about 500 male sexual booster pills along with 97 drinkable ampoules of the same pharmacological compound, without declaring, to a passenger in the airport terminal.
The agents of the Civil Guard acting as State Fiscal Guard, daily carry out, among other actions, passenger and baggage inspections according to risk prevention criteria at the airport of Bilbao.
In one of these controls, on May 21, they carried out the review and inspection of the luggage that was carried by a traveler from the Dominican Republic via Madrid, who had previously said not to carry anything liable to declare in the customs premises.
The civil guards discovered inside a suitcase that was part of the checked baggage, about 500 tablets of 100 mg each of sildenafil citrate, along with 97 drinkable ampoules of the same excipient.
For these acts, the drugs were intervened, attributing to the passenger the authorship of a crime against public health in terms of medicines.

Travelers from outside Spain are reminded that they are allowed to take their personal medication for treatments of up to three months, as long as it is accompanied by a medical prescription.
