The National Police has arrested a man as an alleged perpetrator of a crime of sexual abuse/assault of children under the age of sixteen.
The investigation was initiated by the Juvenile Group of the Judicial Police Brigade of Malaga when a woman went to the police station to report that, when she checked her daughter’s mobile phone, a 12-year-old girl, she had seen conversations through Whatsapp and Snapchat with a young man, apparently also a minor, who asked her for images of a sexual nature, coming to accede to the petition.
In this regard, the officers found that the child was actually a 45-year-old man living in Lasarte-Oria, and immediately requested the cooperation of the Judicial Police Brigade of San Sebastián, which, after setting up a surveillance device in the alleged perpetrator ' s home, proceeded to arrest the suspect and intervene his mobile phone with the SIM card.
It should be noted that the detainee already had a previous record for grooming, adult practice through the Internet or social networks to gain the trust of minors for sexual purposes, so after his arrest he was put at the disposal of the courts.
