The Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities (MICIU), through the State Research Agency (AEI), has published the Proposal for a provisional resolution of the call for proposals 2024 support for public-private partnership projects. Navarre receives a total of 7,625,672.82 euros to finance experimental development projects, lasting three years, in collaboration between research centers, universities, public research organizations and companies.
A total of €245 million has been pre-awarded for 256 public-private partnership projects involving 748 entities. Of this amount, 135 million euros are in the form of a loan; 79 million euros, in the form of a subsidy; and 31, in the form of an ERDF advance. The aid is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund. The objective is to encourage and promote the development of new technologies, the business application of new ideas and techniques, and contribute to the creation of new products and services.
SMEs accumulate most of the pre-granted aid (250), followed by foundations, associations and consortia (190); universities (141), large companies (82) and public research bodies (50), among others.
The health area leads the call with 98 projects, followed by food and bioeconomy, natural resources, agriculture, climate and environment with 56 projects; industry with 40 projects and energy and mobility with 33 projects.
