The Government Delegation in Navarre has hosted an informative meeting on the necessary procedures for the approval of studies to people from other countries. The representatives of the University of Navarra, María Jesús Freire Salinas and Miguel Lucas Lerga, together with territorial delegates and delegates from the United States (Washington, Texas and Miami), Costa Rica, Venezuela, the Dominican Republic (Santo Domingo), Peru, Panama, Ecuador (Guayaquil and Quito), Paraguay, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, Bolivia, Argentina, the Philippines, Colombia (Bogotá), Nicaragua, Chile and Poland, as well as the members of the High Inspection María del Fernández Department, participated in this meeting.
This activity is part of the dissemination and outreach plan that the Delegation is carrying out with the aim of providing the necessary information on the procedures related to the homologation of non-university degrees that must be carried out by people who arrive in Spain from other countries.
The High Inspection of Education organizes numerous informative meetings with different foundations, associations and NGOs to promote support for people who want to carry out this type of procedure. This is the sixth training session held throughout the year 2025, after those given to the social workers of the City of Pamplona and Baragazte de Barañáin, San Antonio Association, Ilundáin Foundation and the NGO ACCEM.
The functions of the High Inspection of Education include the reporting and processing of ESO and Baccalaureate Diplomas from a large group of countries. Most of the petitions come from people arriving from Peru, Colombia and Ecuador, followed by Bolivia, Venezuela and Morocco.
