The Ministry of Equality, through the Women’s Institute, has awarded the Distinctive “Equality in Business” (DIE) to a company in Navarre. The act of handing over these recognitions will take place this Thursday in the Goya Room of the Royal Tapestry Factory of Madrid.
The DIE recognizes those companies that, in a relevant way, have carried out outstanding work in the implementation and implementation of equality plans, as well as in the development of measures or policies of equality between women and men in the workplace.
In addition, this edition has the particularity of being the first one carried out since 2020, which was postponed by the health crisis of COVID-19. In this way, in the act, the badges of the calls for 2020 and 2023 will be delivered, reaching a total of 45 distinguished companies.

Distinctive “Equality in the Company”
The distinctive “Equality in Business” (DIE) is a recognition of the Ministry of Equality to those companies that demonstrate excellence in their policies of equal treatment and opportunities among their workers. The award of this distinction is made by means of calls to which any company or entity, both private and public, that stands out, in an integral way, in the application and in the results of Organic Law 3/2007, of March 22, for the effective equality of women and men, can compete. This law establishes that “the granting of this badge will take into account, among other criteria, the balanced presence of women and men in the management bodies and in the different groups and professional categories of the company, the adoption of equality plans or other innovative measures to promote equality, as well as the non-sexist advertising of the products or services of the company.”
To date, eleven calls have been resolved, with a total of 168 companies currently in possession of the “Equality in the Company” badge. In addition, these entities join the Network of companies with the “Equality in Business” label (DIE Network), a forum aimed at the exchange of experiences and good practices in the field of equal treatment and opportunities between women and men in the workplace, as well as its dissemination to the whole society. After the current call, this Network has a total of 171 members.
