National Police and Civil Guard will reinforce the presence in Tudela and its region on the occasion of the next start of the town’s patron saint’s parties. Both bodies mobilize a total of 266 agents within the security device in which they participate together with the Foral Police and Municipal Police.
Specifically, the National Police has 160 troops for the holidays. Among them, the Police Intervention Unit of Pamplona; the Cavalry Unit from Madrid with 5 horses; 4 canine guides from Zaragoza; the Mobile Brigade of Madrid with 7 officials; drones from Pamplona with 4 people in charge; as well as the personnel of the TEDAX, Subsoil, Information and Judicial Police of Pamplona that may be necessary during the holidays.
For its part, the Civil Guard mobilizes a total of 106 agents. Of these, 49 correspond to Citizen Security; 40 come from the Traffic Group, which during the holidays strengthens surveillance controls, as well as those on alcohol and drug consumption; 14 troops correspond to the Weapons Intervention; and 3 more come from the Fiscal Service that, for example, carries out inspections in relation to street sales.
In large events, such as the patron saint’s festivities, it is especially useful to free application of the Ministry of the Interior ALERTCOPS, which makes it possible to notify the National Police and Civil Guard of an alert, information, data or news about a criminal act or security incident of which they are victims or witnesses.
It also offers users the possibility to share their location on the map with family or friends through the “Private Guardian” function. And, even if you wish, you can subscribe to the public security services to share your position with the State Security Forces and Corps, so that this position will be sent periodically so that this person can be located in case of emergency.
