In 2023, Navarre will receive a total of 13,760,723.41 euros from the Ministry of Education and FP for the training of workers. This has been agreed at the Sectoral Conference on Qualifications and Vocational Training in which the allocation of more than 978.8 million euros between the autonomous communities has been decided. In addition, the project of Royal Decree of Ordination of Vocational Training Courses has been addressed.
On the one hand, the autonomous communities have given the green light to the distribution of about 867.3 million euros (867.284.490) from the budgets of the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training for the training of workers, employees and the unemployed, which represents an increase of almost 21 million euros compared to the previous year. Within this section, Navarre will receive 12,058,220.48 euros.
It has also approved the distribution of 111.5 million euros (111,542,000 euros) for the qualification and requalification of workers, almost 30 percent more than in 2022. They are funds from the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan that will serve to develop training actions based on modules of between 30 and 60 hours of training referenced in the National Catalogue of Professional Qualifications. In this case, the Foral Community will receive 1,702,502.93 euros.
On the other hand, the CCAA has examined the draft Royal Decree of ordination of FP, which makes the system more flexible to facilitate the access of the entire population to Vocational Training, in order to improve employability and respond to the high demand for professionals specialized in the different productive sectors. It will thus allow the full implementation of the Organic Law on the Organization and Integration of Vocational Training, approved in March 2022.
The text gives the green light to the creation of multiple training offers of various typologies and durations, adapted to the needs of each person. All of them will be valid within the Vocational Training system, they will be creditable, and they will add up in the training trajectory of the workers. The new system will ensure that the entire training offer can also be offered by individual or grouped modules, thus opening up multiple training possibilities.
