9 October 2025. The Government delegate has called this afternoon all the State agencies in the Region of Murcia to coordinate actions in the face of the rain warnings issued by AEMET for today and tomorrow throughout the Region of Murcia.
Francisco Lucas has indicated that all the resources of the State are mobilized and at the service of the emergency to prevent and act if necessary, regardless of the level of competence in which it is.
“The priority here is to protect citizens and guarantee their safety, and that is why I offer my full cooperation to the Autonomous Community,” said the government delegate, who has appealed to the prudence and responsibility of citizens to avoid unnecessary displacement and risk situations that compromise their integrity.

The government delegate highlighted the absence of incidents at the time the meeting began and reported that AEMET has raised the rainfall warning in the Guadalentín Valley, Lorca and Águilas to an orange level until 9:00 p.m. today.
It should be remembered that, in addition, the current notices for the rest of the day are orange in the Campo de Cartagena and Mazarrón and yellow in the rest of the Region.
For tomorrow, red in the Campo de Cartagena and Mazarrón, orange in the Vega del Segura and yellow in the Guadalentín Valley, Lorca and Águilas.
The meeting was attended by the highest representatives of the National Police, Civil Guard, Traffic Group of the Civil Guard, State Meteorological Agency, Hydrographic Confederation of Segura, General Directorate of Traffic, Road Demarcation, Promotion Areas, Industry and Civil Protection of the Government Delegation, as well as the Military Emergency Unit and Maritime Captaincy, who were connected by video conference.
