- Mula has today formalized its accession with the signing of the protocol of cooperation between the Civil Guard and the Local Police
- There are already 27 regional municipalities incorporated into this system of the Ministry of the Interior
24 June 2025. The delegate of the Government has today presided over the signing of the protocol of collaboration and coordination between the Civil Guard and the City of Mula for the incorporation of the Local Police body to the system of monitoring cases of gender violence (VioGén System), in which she has encouraged the other municipalities to promote their adhesion after the rubric by the mayor of the town, Juan Jesús Moreno, and the Colonel Chief of the 5th Zone of the Civil Guard, Francisco Pulido.
“With the incorporation of Mula, the VIOGEN system already covers 83.83% of the autonomous area and 83.62% of the regional population protected by the umbrella of this network in which the institutions responsible for providing the assistance and security of the victims are integrated, facilitating the transmission of information necessary for monitoring the protection measures, the situation of the victim and the circumstances of the aggressor,” said Mariola Guevara.
The Government delegate has stressed that the fight against gender violence cannot be limited to a specific day or the day on which a convention of this type is signed. “It is a daily struggle, and in this regard, we must highlight the constant and permanent work of the Coordination Unit against Violence against Women of the Government Delegation, with awareness-raising actions and training and dissemination activities with all kinds of professional bodies and associations,” he added.
Guevara has detailed that, currently, 5,549 active cases in follow-up in the Region of Murcia are recorded in the VioGén System, of which 1,266 are managed by Local Police Forces. That is, 22.81% of active cases.

-To monitor and protect the victims.
