- The delegate of the Government has valued the exceptionality in the performance of its functions, which has contributed significantly to improve road safety in the Region of Murcia
October 18, 2024. The delegate of the Government this morning imposed the Medal of Merit of Road Safety in its category of bronze with blue badge to María Ángeles Martínez Ripoll, official of the Provincial Traffic Headquarters retired last April after 34 years of public service, the last twenty as head of the Administrative Affairs Service.
The medal, awarded by the General Directorate of Traffic on the proposal of the Provincial Headquarters of Murcia, recognizes, according to Mariola Guevara, the exceptional performance of its functions and its contribution to the significant improvement of road safety in the Region of Murcia.
“I would like to highlight your extensive training in traffic and circulation, representing in this aspect and at the technical level the Provincial Traffic Headquarters in the inter-administrative collaboration that from this agency is maintained with other institutions and agencies, such as the School of Training and Innovation of the Public Administrations of the CARM, the General Directorate of Industry of the CARM, Headquarters of the different Local Police of the municipalities of our Region, Prosecutor’s Office, State Lawyers, FREMM or College of Administrative Managers, among others”, the Government delegate has valued.
For her part, the Provincial Head of Traffic, Virginia Jerez, has highlighted her involvement, commitment and ability to work and has highlighted that her legal preparation has guaranteed that she led the Sanctions Unit during the last 15 years and served as an attorney for the State in the Region of Murcia in traffic matters, as well as her presence in numerous working groups of the General Subdirectorate of Resources of the General Directorate of Traffic and has been considered a referent in traffic matters for traffic surveillance agents.
