October 7, 2024. The government delegate received this morning a representation of the students who mobilized last Friday in the protests against the Ministry of Education by the EBAU.
Guevara has given them support for their demands, regretted the incidents that took place and apologized for how bad they could have been and for the bad image that has emerged from legitimate protests.
Guevara, as he reported last Friday, has reiterated that, at no time, neither the Government Delegation nor the Superior Chief of Police ordered the use of force against the students and that an internal investigation has been opened to clarify everything that happened.
Finally, the students have thanked him for receiving them immediately and have discouraged themselves from the violent behavior that some students or people outside their true claims may have shown.
