Caridad Rives, new delegate of the Government in the Region of Murcia
  • Since January 2023 she has held the position of director of the Promotion Area of the Government Delegation in Murcia.
  • She holds a degree in Exact Sciences from the University of Murcia and a career civil servant in the Corps of Secondary Education Teachers.


April 4, 2023. Caridad Rives Arcayna has been appointed delegate of the Government in the Region of Murcia to replace José Vélez.

Rives, a native of Cartagena, holds a degree in Exact Sciences from the University of Murcia and has been a career civil servant since 2008 in the Corps of Secondary Education Teachers.

From 1999 to 2015 she was a councillor in the City of Cartagena, with exclusive dedication from 2009 to 2014.

From February 2021 to January 2023 she served as High Inspector in the Functional Area of High Inspection of Education of the Government Delegation in Murcia and since January she has held the position of Director of the Promotion Area of the Government Delegation in Murcia.
