The Social Centre for the Elderly of the Imserso in Melilla has today put the finishing touch to its week of activities on the occasion of the patron saint’s festivities in honor of the Virgen de la Victoria. The performance of the Ballet de Colors has served as the closure of a program that has filled the center with a festive atmosphere and that has had a wide participation of users.
The activities began on Friday, August 29 with the inauguration of “El Rincón de la Alegría” and the performance of the Flamenco School. Over the next few days, the elders have enjoyed a Mass Shower accompanied by the Chorus Shower, the traditional contest of Miss and Mister, a visit to the fairgrounds, a lively tortilla contest and the popular “tómbola del cubo”, a special bingo that has delighted the attendees.
The closure was attended by the Delegate of the Government, Sabrina Moh, the Territorial Director of the Imserso, Verónica Aznar, and the Director of the Center, Ramón Paqué, who accompanied the elders in the final act of this festive week.
