The Public Service of State Employment (SEPE) in Melilla has published in the Official State Gazette the second call for subsidies within the Labour Insertion Program through Services of General and Social Interest, endowed with a maximum total amount of 202,966.86 euros.
The Provincial Director of SEPE, Jorge Vera, explained that “these grants represent an opportunity to improve the employability of those who need it most, while developing projects with a clear positive impact on society.”
Beneficiaries
These grants are aimed at public or private non-profit entities that have their own legal personality and sufficient technical and managerial capacity to carry out projects that facilitate the placement and acquisition of professional skills to unemployed people, through their contracting for the realization of services of general and social interest.
Entities registered in the corresponding register of associations or foundations with a minimum of three years’ notice, which have a contribution account and whose territorial scope of action is the Autonomous City of Melilla, will be eligible for this call.
The Provincial Director recalled that this line of subsidies is part of the common activation programs for employment of the National Employment System, and responds to the commitment of the Government of Spain to promote active employment policies that combine training, job insertion and social cohesion.
“From SEPE we continue to work for Melilla to advance in employability and inclusion, offering job and training opportunities through entities that perform essential social work,” he said.

The deadline for submitting applications is 15 calendar days from the day after the publication of the extract in the BOE, so it will end on November 16.
