The Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports (MEFPyD) has convened the National Competition “A Constitution for All” for the year 2025.
As explained by the Provincial Director, Elena Fernández Treviño, the object of these awards is the recognition of the students of Spanish educational centers that provide non-university education of the educational system that develop works on the Spanish Constitution. It is about stimulating and promoting in the students the reflection about the value, the importance and the role played in the daily life of our Constitution.
Beneficiaries
Fernández Treviño has detailed that Spanish educational centers supported with public funds that offer the teachings of Primary Education, Compulsory Secondary Education, Baccalaureate, or Vocational Training Cycles will be eligible for these awards.
The following modalities participate in this contest:
- Modality A: 1st and 2nd year of Primary Education.
- Modality B: 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th year of Primary Education.
- Modality C: Compulsory Secondary Education, Basic Degree Training Cycles, Special Education and Adult Education.
- Modality D: Baccalaureate, Intermediate Degree Training Cycles.
- Modality E: Special Regime Teachings and Higher Degree Training Cycles.
In addition, a prize is awarded by type and format: stories or poetry, project with the programming language Scratch or a video that follows the format bibliotráiler.
Awards
A diploma accrediting the knowledge and meaning of the Constitution and a prize in kind will be awarded for each modality and format for a maximum amount of 1,500 euros. In total, 22,500 euros will be allocated to prizes in kind.
The Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports will contribute a maximum of 37,500 euros in kind, intended for the accommodation, travel and maintenance of the winning students accompanied by their parents/legal guardians and the director of the center, for the assistance to the award ceremony.
Submission of applications
The deadline for submitting applications will be 20 calendar days from today, October 3. The registration form must be completed and registered, which will be accessible electronically through the electronic headquarters of the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports: https://sede.educacion.gob.es, section ‘Procedures and services’
