The Public Service of State Employment (SEPE) has published the call for the granting, from the budgetary year 2025, of public subsidies within the labor insertion program through services of general and social interest, aimed at facilitating the placement and acquisition of professional skills to the people destined for it, through their contracting for the realization of services of general and social interest in the city of Melilla.
As explained by the Provincial Director of the SEPE, Jorge Vera, the amount for this subsidy amounts to 202,966 euros and the beneficiaries of these may be public bodies and non-profit institutions that hire unemployed workers for the realization of services of general and social interest and their territorial scope of action is Melilla.
The call for grants, which has a competitive concurrence regime, is part of the job placement program through works or services of general and social interest, aimed at facilitating the placement and acquisition of professional skills to the beneficiaries of this program through their contracting for the realization of works or services of general and social interest.
The final recipients of the subsidized contracts will be unemployed workers who are registered as claimants in the SEPE, Public Service of State Employment in Melilla.
As Vera explained, the first professional experience will be favored, and for positions that do not require any qualification, preference will be given to young people under 30 years of age with low qualification and people over 52 years of age; in addition, at least 50% of the people participating in the program will be women.
The Excerpt of the Resolution was published this Saturday, August 9, in the Official State Gazette (BOE) and the deadline for submission of applications is one month from the day after that publication.
