“First of all there is the welfare of the Melillense citizens and I would not paralyse any infrastructure that depended on the authorization of the Government of Spain, for a political gain.”
The Delegate of the Government, Sabrina Moh, in an interview granted to Onda Cero, referred to the relations between the two administrations of Melilla and recognized that, thinking of the general interest of the Melilla citizens, she would like them to be better.
“Much to my regret, relations are much worse than I personally would like,” he acknowledged and recalled that, every time he has a meeting with any sector or entity, he always makes it clear that, as far as the Government Delegation is concerned, “you are going to find dialogue, the doors of the Delegation are open.”
Furthermore, he has made it clear to all his interlocutors that “if I have to sit in any dependency so that, regardless of ideological issues, we think of the benefit of the Melillense citizenship, you will find me as an ally”.
Something, he has made clear, that is exclusively due to the fact that he puts the well-being of the city and of the citizens before any other issue. “If the citizens want to value it, fine. If not when this time is over, I will return to my job without any problems, but with the clear conscience of having put the personal interest of the Melillense citizens first.”
