The Government Delegation has hosted a farewell ceremony for the 40 men and women of the XXXIX Promotion of the Basic Scale of the National Police who during the last 11 months have been carrying out their practices in our city.
The General Secretary of the Delegation of the Government in Melilla, Sana Jallat Abdeslam, together with the Superior Chief of Police, José Antonio Togores, and the General Secretary of the Headquarters, Isidoro González, participated in an event that the Delegation of the Government has welcomed as a farewell to these agents who on May 30 will swear their office at the National Police School of Ávila.
Abdeslam has valued the magnificent work done by the 29 men and 11 women who have carried out their practices in the city and has wished them the best of luck in their police career. In addition, he has asked all of them to always remember Melilla and act “as ambassadors of this wonderful city” wherever they go.
For his part, the Superior Chief has congratulated the trainees for having overcome the practices “with good professional development”, while wishing them many successes and a police career “as brilliant as possible”.
Togores has highlighted that Melilla is a city where you learn things that go beyond, such as coexistence and the different ways of seeing life. “En Melilla se aprende a ser una persona más abierta, más respetuosa”, ha destacado.
