Meet the demands of the platform affected by the Almeria route while guaranteeing the supply of our city. The proposal that the Delegation of the Government has raised to the General Directorate of the Merchant Navy combines these two issues, as explained by the maximum representative of the Government of Spain in our city, Sabrina Moh.
As the Delegate of the Government has said, a study has been carried out of “all these concerns, all the proposals, the suggestions… we have analyzed the whole situation so that no harm occurs later.”
A study, he added, that has materialized in order to be able to move “a proposal on the different requests that have been made but, obviously, we also talked about something as basic and essential as is the whole issue of supply”.
“At the time when we were told that there would be no problem and that we would suffer for this issue, a request was raised,” explained Moh, who said that they are waiting for this procedure to be finally resolved, since “now it will also have to be analyzed at ministerial level.”
The head of the delegation pointed out that rarely when a measure is taken, 100% of citizens are satisfied, but it is always tried to benefit the majority.
In particular, as Sabrina Moh has reported, the proposal proposed is that the boat between Melilla and Almería has a connection on Fridays and Sundays, that is, that it returns to the original rotation.
