The Delegate of the Government in Melilla, Sabrina Moh, has announced that next week they will end the formalization of the contracts of the 555 workers of the first phase of the Employment Plan of the Delegation of the Government 2024-2025.
The top representative of the Government of Spain in the city has said that they have already given the starting signal for the second phase, which includes a total of 735 jobs. “With this we will close the quota of 1,290 workers included in this Employment Plan,” he stressed.
As he explained, once all the contracts of the first phase are signed, they will begin to make the new polls so that in the month of May new provisional lists can be released, with the objective that in June all the recruitments of the staff of Employment Plans can be finished.
Administration near you
The head of the Delegation has clarified that those occupations that do not finish being covered by the lack of job seekers, will be destined to others, in order to participate in the program ‘The Administration near you’.
On the programme, which began with support for the completion of post-compulsory studies grants from the Ministry of Education, the Delegate stressed that “all services will be expanded to continue bringing the Administration closer to the Melillense citizens”.
Second Employment Plan
Sabrina Moh has advanced that in the coming months the new call for the second Employment Plan of the Government Delegation will come out. An Extraordinary Plan in which, in addition, occupations subject to higher education qualifications, such as the FP of Higher Degree or University Degree can be included.
This second Plan will account for another 13 million euros and will respond to profiles of Superior Technician in Early Childhood Education, Superior Technician in Social Integration, Degree in Social Work, Degree in Primary Education or Degree in Nursing, among others.
26 million euros
The Government Delegate pointed out that this year the investment for the Employment Plan, plus another 13 of the Extraordinary Plan, has been increased from 11 to 13 million euros, “to contemplate wage increases without having to lose jobs.” In total he has highlighted that this year 2025 two Employment Plans will be carried out with an investment of 26 million euros.
