A total of 42 professionals, Technicians in Auxiliary Nursing Care (TCAE), signed their stabilization at the Institute of Elderly and Social Services (Imserso), in an event held at the Multipurpose Center of Services for Elderly People of Melilla, known as the Nursing Home.
The event, which took place a few days ago, was attended by the Delegate of the Government, Sabrina Moh, and the Territorial Director of the Imserso, Verónica Aznar, who accompanied the workers at this very important moment for their professional trajectories. This stabilization is part of the process of consolidation of public employment, which aims to reduce the temporality in administrations and guarantee continuity and quality in the provision of essential services.
During her speech, the Government Delegate stressed the importance of this step for the 42 professionals, recognizing "the commitment, vocation and daily effort of those who care for our elders, even in the most difficult circumstances, as it was during the pandemic."
The top representative of the Government of Spain in the city stressed that this stabilization “not only represents an improvement in the working conditions of workers, but also a guarantee of stability for the public services they provide”.
Moh wanted to convey his sincere thanks to all the staff of the Nursing Home, highlighting the years of dedication and professionalism: “This signature is not only a legal recognition, but also a human recognition of the silent, constant and absolutely essential work that you have been doing for years. You are an essential pillar in caring for the elderly in our city.”
With this stabilization, Imserso reaffirms its commitment to improving public employment and providing quality care to the elderly, a sector that is particularly vulnerable and a priority in the Government’s social policies.
