The Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports (MEFPyD) has published the Resolution of the General Secretariat of Vocational Training calling for grants on a competitive basis for the development of other training programs, adapted to groups with specific needs in the cities of Ceuta and Melilla for the financial year 2025.
As explained by the Provincial Director of the MEFPyD, Elena Fernández Treviño, the trade union organizations and non-profit private entities that carry out their activities in the city of Melilla may be beneficiaries of these grants.
“The objective of these programs is to facilitate the continuity of training for people at risk of social and labor exclusion and who are outside the educational system through a specific offer that improves their employability and allows them to return to the educational system,” he stressed.
Lines of action
To this end, two lines of action are established:
- Line A. Programs conducive to achieving a basic degree aimed at people without any professional qualification.
- Line B. Programs aimed at achieving an average degree aimed at people with the need to improve their qualification in post-compulsory secondary education of a professional nature.
Duration and execution of programs
These programs will last for 900 hours. The implementation of the specific training programs must begin within a maximum period of 3 months after the publication of the decision to grant this call and must end before December 31, 2025.
Amount and funding
The maximum number of specific training programs that can be implemented will not exceed the financial amount of € 625,000 distributed in € 437,500 for line A and € 187,500 for line B.
The training programs that are implemented for the first time will receive 62,500 euros and those that maintain the structure and content of previous calls will receive between 50,000 euros and 37,500 euros according to the modality.
Submission of requests

Each entity will submit an application for each of the programs it intends to develop.
The deadline for submission shall be fifteen calendar days from the day following the publication of the announcement in the Official State Gazette (BOE).
