The Delegate of the Government in Melilla, Sabrina Moh, has stressed the importance of investing in education, through an improvement in the offer of public employment or the implementation of new infrastructures.
In this regard, he stressed that “there are 424 places that we have taken out in the period that we are in the Government, not counting the almost 160 that are going to come out this year, compared to the 60 places that the Popular Party launched in the same period”.
Thus, he has defended human resources in order to improve education and teaching in our city, as well as to stabilize employment. “This makes it possible to achieve objectives such as lowering the ratio and goes hand in hand with an improvement in educational quality,” he said.
But not only that, the highest representative of the Government of Spain in our city has made a positive balance in terms of investment in infrastructure and the implementation of different educational centers, “with which a huge leap in quality has been made.”
Thus, it has highlighted the Official School of Languages, the Adult Center and the Conservatory (2019) in the old Central Market; the IES Virgen de la Victoria (2020) in the grounds of the Valencian Garden; or the CEIP Encarna León (2024) in the old barracks ‘Gabriel de Morales’.
