The Provincial Director of the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports (MEFPyD) in Melilla, Elena Fernández Treviño, has denounced improvisation with which the Imbroda Government has undertaken the works in the municipal gallery and the enormous damage it is causing to many Melilla families.
“Unfortunately, on such a sensitive issue as this, the local Executive is again moved by the lack of foresight and has undertaken a work in the tanatorium without having previously closed an alternative for this infrastructure,” he said.
The head of the Provincial Directorate of Education has regretted that, once again, it is the Melillense citizens who are harmed by the mismanagement of the Government of Imbroda, and that, as if that were not enough, the Ministry of the Environment instead of assuming their responsibilities are trying to hold third parties responsible for their disability.
In any case, Fernández Treviño has made it clear that, for the Government Delegation, the Melillense citizens and their well-being are above any other issue and has advanced that the Government Delegate, Sabrina Moh, is making arrangements with the Ministry of Education so that, while the works in the tanatorium last, the Modular Classrooms can be used for that purpose.
“Unlike the Executive of the PP, we are very clear that the general interest of the citizens is above all and that, the mistakes of the Imbroda Government do not have to be paid by the Melillenses,” he said.
“The Delegate is working directly on this issue with the Ministry officials to respond to an issue that is so sensitive to Melilla citizens,” she concluded.
