“I hope and wish that we will finally obtain that long-awaited first occupation license to be able to start operating in this necessary infrastructure for the people of Melilla, as is the University Hospital of Melilla.”
The Delegate of the Government, Sabrina Moh, who participated in the opening of the VI Congress of the Federation of Health and Health Sectors of Melilla of Workers’ Commissions (FSS-CCOO), in her speech referred to the University Hospital of Melilla (HUME) and Health in our city.
“We are living a key moment in the city, which is the inauguration and implementation of the University Hospital,” he said. An infrastructure that, he pointed out, “is already finished and is ready to be able to give it that operation and begin to nourish itself already”.
In this sense, the highest representative of the Government of Spain in the city has valued the characteristics, equipment and system “last in the market”, and that not only comes to improve the sanitary quality of all melillenses, because it also “comes to improve the working conditions of the staff that provides service”.
Moh has stressed the important leap in quality that will mean the launch of the University Hospital, once the Autonomous City grants the license of first occupation “to be able to start operating in this infrastructure necessary for the Melillenses”.
At this point, he highlighted the work that has been carried out by the union, “thanks to which we can work synergistically, closely and collaborating in everything we can to continue moving towards this public and quality health that we always want.”
Therefore, the head of the Government Delegation has built a bridge for collaboration in everything that affects the general interest of Melilla and the improvement of health. “This Congress is a sign of the commitment to public health in Melilla, and with that assistance, resistance and vocation of service to citizens,” he stressed.
