The Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports (MEFPyD) has convened places for the realization of online tutored courses for the permanent training of teachers at non-university levels and the course on updating managerial competences.
As announced by the Provincial Director, Juan Ángel Berbel, this call “aims to increase the quality, equity, inclusion and success of all in the field of education and training; improve competences and motivation in the teaching profession; and support ecological and digital transitions in and through education and training”.
“To facilitate innovation, inclusion, quality and achievement in education and training, educators must be highly competent, which requires a number of professional learning opportunities,” he said.
Therefore, he added, it is up to educational institutions to act as facilitators that provide teachers and trainers with those learning opportunities in all phases of their professional lives. “It is essential to promote the adoption of new inclusive approaches from teacher training courses, encouraging the dissemination and use of methodologies and tools that promote equal opportunities among students,” he said.
As Berbel has explained, in total, 6,350 places are convened on a competitive basis for online tutoring courses for the permanent training of teachers and the course on updating managerial competences. First call for proposals 2025.
The maximum total amount intended to finance this call will be 449,475 euros and there will be a single deadline for submission of applications of twenty calendar days, counted from January 9, 2025 and interested parties can only register for a course.
