The Delegate of the Government, Sabrina Moh, regretted that, for exclusively partisan reasons, the Government of Imbroda is delaying the approval of the first occupation license to prevent the opening of the new University Hospital of Melilla (HUME).
“No one can understand that the PP government puts its partisan interests before the interests of the Melillense people,” he said. “We talk about the biggest investment in the history of the city that will represent a qualitative leap in the diagnosis and health care of the Melillense citizens, so delaying its opening and putting into operation the popular who are harmed is the Melillenses not the Government of the Nation,” he stressed.
The head of the Government Delegation explained that “there can be no work that does not correspond to the one projected in the plans, since the Optional Directorate has to verify that this work corresponds to the plans and their possible modifications”.
Some modified ones, added Moh, which have been carried out to improve the original project and improve the service that is going to be provided to the Melillenses, so it has regretted that, again the people use it as a pretext to not give the license of first occupation. “The PP used as an excuse a modified to paralyze the works of the Hospital for 7 years and now again they use it as an excuse to delay the implementation of the same,” he lamented.
In addition, Moh has recalled that this practice is not new within the PP since they delayed the authorization of the license of first occupation of the CEIP Encarna león until six months first by a minor work and, subsequently, by the replacement of six cisterns that were not even going to be used at the first moment of the opening of the center.
For all these reasons, the highest representative of the Government of the Nation in our city has called on the local Executive to abandon the permanent confrontation and, for once, think of the interests of the Melillenses and stop hindering the opening of this health infrastructure.
