The Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports (MEFPyD) has convened places for visiting Spanish teachers in the United States, Canada, Germany and China for the academic year 2025-2026
As explained by the Provincial Director, Juan Ángel Berbel, this program seeks to favor Spanish participation in bilateral educational actions, whose interaction brings significant added value between different countries that are considered strategic for the development of the Spanish language and culture.
In this sense, “this program incorporates educational and cultural benefits for Spain by allowing visiting teachers to perfect knowledge of the language and culture of the country that hosts them, acquiring a series of competencies and skills, as well as adequately training for communication in foreign languages,” he said.
The call is open to Spanish teachers with the title of diploma, graduate or graduate, in various areas or subjects, with the aim of teaching in Spanish in bilingual and language immersion programs, Spanish as a foreign language, or other areas or subjects in educational centers in the United States, Canada, Germany and China.
The maximum amount is 25,000 euros, for the development of an orientation course, to facilitate the incorporation of selected teachers into the American, Canadian, German and Chinese school system and the deadline for submission of applications is 15 working days from the day following the publication of the resolution in the Official State Gazette (BOE).
