The Provincial Directorate of the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports (MEFPyD) has opened the deadline to participate in the first extraordinary call for the elaboration of a list of applicants to cover teaching positions on an interim basis, according to the needs of the same in the academic year 2024/2025.
In the Corps of Secondary School Teachers, the specialties called for are: Philosophy, Spanish Language and Literature, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, Computer Science, Agricultural Production Processes, Health Processes, Agricultural Production Operations and Equipment, Health and Care Procedures, Computer Systems and Applications, Community Services + Sign Language Interpreter.
In the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts, the specialties of Fundamentals of Composition and Trombone have been convened. Finally, in the Body of Teachers Specializing in Singular Sectors of Professional Training, the Manufacturing and Installation of Carpentry and Furniture and the Production in Graphic Arts are published.
Aspirant requirements
The Provincial Director of Education, Juan Ángel Berbel, explained that to be admitted to these selective procedures, applicants must meet the same general requirements to participate in the selective entrance tests to the Corps of Secondary School Teachers, Corps of Music and Performing Arts Teachers and Technical Teachers of Vocational Training.
Likewise, they must meet the specific requirements established in the norm, that is, be in possession of the qualification that accredits the qualification to impart the corresponding specialty, be in possession of the pedagogical and didactic training and have not been convicted by final judgment for crimes against freedom and sexual indemnity.
The documentation accrediting requirements and merits must be attached in electronic format and the applicant will be responsible for the veracity of the documentation provided, being excluded his participation in the procedure of incurring documentary falsehood.
This Provincial Directorate may provide that the applicants who participate in this extraordinary call carry out a test in the indicated specialties. These tests will be qualified with “Suitable” or “Not suitable”, not being able to be part of the list those applicants who do not exceed them.
Deadlines and permanence
The deadline for submitting applications will be seven calendar days from the day following its publication, that is, until Friday, October 4.
Once the procedure has been resolved, the lists of applicants that are formed as a result of this call will be maintained, for the successive school courses, until the selective entry procedure is convened for places of the same faculty and specialty.
The permanence in these lists will be conditioned by the fact that they continue to be part of them as of June 30 of each academic year, as well as the obligation to submit an application to continue in those of the following course, recognizing the score then obtained, to which will be added only, and where appropriate, that of the merits perfected and justified after the date of completion of the deadline for submission of the previous application, provided that they have not obtained the maximum score assigned to the corresponding section or subsection of the scale.
