The Provincial Director of the Public Service of State Employment (SEPE) in Melilla, Jorge Vera, has reported on the call for public subsidies, aimed at financing the vocational guidance program for employment and self-employment in the territorial area of Melilla for the financial year 2024.
As you explained, these are two subsidies. The first of these is the salary costs for all the concepts of the personnel hired for the execution of the actions, including that of the personnel providing services in the beneficiary entity and those others that could be hired for that purpose, after selecting said personnel in the terms that determine the calls.
The salary costs of the staff serving in the beneficiary entity will be charged to the program in proportion to the time actually spent on the project.
While the second is the subsidy of other expenses necessary for the execution of the program, when this is foreseen in the respective call for proposals.
The deadline for the submission of applications, as well as the documentation that the interested person, company or entity must accompany it, is 15 calendar days, counted from tomorrow, since it was today when the Official State Gazette (BOE) has published the extract of the Resolution.
With regard to the call amount, Vera has explained that the grants will be financed from the budgets of the SEPE of Melilla up to a maximum of 712,215 euros, corresponding 569,772 euros for the year 2024 and 142,443 euros for the year 2025.
The regulations governing these subsidies are articles 17 to 20 of Royal Decree 818/2021, of September 28, as well as program 01 of the Annex to Order TES/1077/2023, of September 28.
