The Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports (MEFPyD) has published the call for the Territorial Cooperation Program for Guidance, Advancement and Educational Enrichment PROA+ 2024-2025, for educational centers in Ceuta and Melilla.
The Programme is aimed at Primary Education and Secondary Education centres, supported by public funds, which provide all or part of the stages considered, and have a minimum percentage of 30% of vulnerable students in the second cycle of Early Childhood Education, Basic Education and Post-Compulsory Secondary Education.
As explained by the Provincial Director of our city, Juan Ángel Berbel, the final objective of the PROA+ program is the strengthening of centers supported with public funds that present a greater educational complexity, in order to improve the school results of all students, especially the most vulnerable.
Amount
This program has an investment of 372,000 euros for the year 2024. The maximum amount of credit that could be released to each selected center would be fifteen thousand one hundred euros, to cover the expenses derived from lever activities, as well as for the necessary didactic resources or fungible material.
The Provincial Director has detailed that these actions must be carried out within the established period of application, starting on September 1, 2024 and ending on August 31, 2025.
In this way, the amount of aid allocated to each center will vary according to the priorities and objectives of the program, and according to the complexity, the dimension, the lever activities that are going to be developed by the centers to achieve their ultimate purpose, which is to improve the school results of all the students of the center, especially the most vulnerable.
The deadline for submitting applications will be twenty calendar days from the day following the publication of its extract in the Official State Gazette.
