Tomorrow the Baccalaureate Assessment Tests for University Access (PEBAU) begin in Melilla, to which a total of 464 students will be presented, as reported by the Provincial Director of the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports (MEFPyD), Juan Ángel Berbel.
The tests will be carried out in two venues, on the one hand the University of Granada, in which 337 students will be presented, of which 305 will go to the tests tomorrow and the rest will be presented to the optional subjects; while in the IES ‘Leopoldo Queipo’ there are registered a total of 127 students, of which 118 will appear tomorrow.
“In particular, tomorrow they are examining Spanish Language and Literature, History of Spain or History of Philosophy, from these two subjects they must choose one”, explained Berbel, who has indicated that the third exercise will be Foreign Language.
As for the fourth exercise that will tell you about the access phase to the general qualification, you can examine Artistic Drawing 2, Musical Analysis 2, or Scenic Art 2, depending on the itinerary. Latin 2 for the students of Humanities, Mathematics II for those of Science and Mathematics applied to Social Sciences II or General Sciences.
“The grade of the access phase is the arithmetic average of these four exams, expressed from 0 to 10 with three decimal figures and rounded to the thousandth,” he explained and pointed out that this qualification, which is obtained from the four subjects, must be equal to or greater than four points.
The access note is calculated by weighting 40% of the note of the access phase and 60% of the average note of the Baccalaureate in such a way that, when doing the weighting, you have to exceed 5 points, which will not have expiration.
For the access phase to certain degrees in which they ask for more than 10 points, Berbel has explained that interested parties can upload the note with some of the subjects of option.
Three days of exams
The students are summoned tomorrow at 7.30 a.m. and must personalize themselves with the ID card, the identification number generated by the computer application once they pay the fees and the corresponding stickers they have to carry. The first examination will begin at 8.30 a.m.; the second examination will begin at 11.00 a.m.; and the third examination will begin at 1.30 p.m.
For the second day, in the first strip of the morning, from 8.30 a.m. to 10.00 a.m., you can choose between Musical Analysis 2, Artistic Drawing 2, Latin 2, Mathematics 2 or General Science.
At 11 a.m. you can examine Performing Arts 2, Mathematics Applied to Social Sciences 2, Greek 2, Technical Drawing Applied to Applied Arts and Design 2.
And at 1.30 p.m., you can choose between Choir and Vocal Technique 2; Cultural and Artistic Movements, Physics for students of science or Business and Design of Business Models for those of Social Sciences.
The last day of exams, which will be this Thursday, June 6, in its ordinary phase, will be able to examine History of Music and Dance, Design, Technical Drawing 2 or Biology at 8.30 a.m.
At 11 a.m. you can examine between Foreign Language, Graphic and Plastic Expression Technique, Dramatic Literature, Geography or Chemistry. And, at 1.30 p.m., between Art History, Artistic Foundations, Geology and Environmental Science, or Technology and Engineering 2.
In addition, on Thursday afternoon they have the hourly incompatibility exams reserved for those students who have to examine two subjects that coincide in the same band.
