Melilla faces this edition of the Spainskills, with a total of 11 students, the largest delegation with which the city has ever participated in this championship, in which participants from all over Spain show the professional skills acquired during their training through practical exercises and tests.
The CIFP ‘Reina Victoria Eugenia’ has organized a simple event this lunchtime to encourage and dismiss the competitors who will represent our city during the national competition, which will take place at the IFEMA fair in Madrid next week, between 9 and 13.
An event led by the Provincial Directorate of the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports (MEFPyD) of Melilla, Juan Ángel Berbel, who explained that the Melilla students who will participate in the competition belong to 11 professional profiles: Electrical Installation, Florist, Hairdressing, Aesthetics, Automotive Technology, Kitchen, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, ICT, Network Systems Administration, Social Health Care, Window Dressing and Visual Marketing, and Bakery.
This Spanish tournament will also involve the election of the people who represent our country in the international competitions of EuroSkills and WorldSkills International. “Whether or not they get one of the three awards that allow them to represent Spain in the European phase, I wish the competitors the best and I thank all the teaching staff who have been preparing them these months,” said Berbel.
