The Delegate of the Government, Sabrina Moh, has conveyed her condolences as well as her support and affection to the relatives and loved ones of the two agents of the Civil Guard who have lost their lives in the act of service in Barbate.
To questions from the press, the head of the Government Delegation in Melilla, recalled that “we have always been receptive from the Government to all the requests” made by the Benemérita, especially when in our territory the agents of the Civil Guard have had to face events not only by sea but also by the terrestrial perimeter.
“We have seen how Melilla received the necessary anti-riot equipment so that our agents could serve on the land borders, on the border perimeter,” he recalled.
He has also explained that he has had the opportunity to visit the Special Group on Underwater Activities (GEAS) and see the dependencies, as well as the material.
“I believe that Melilla are doing a commendable job and I believe that they have the resources, however, we have always been open from the Government to attend to all the requests of the body and, therefore, they will continue to count on that support and with that commitment,” he said.
