The Provincial Directorate of the Ministry of Education and Professional Training (MEyFP) in Melilla has decided to convene on 1 September an extraordinary call for the preparation of a list of applicants to cover teaching positions on an interim basis, according to the needs of the same in the academic year 2023/24, as reported by the Provincial Director, Juan Ángel Berbel.
Specifically, the Secondary School Teachers’ Corps deals with the specialties of Philosophy, Spanish Language and Literature, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, Analysis and Industrial Chemistry, Clinical and Orthoprosthetic Diagnostic Processes, with B2 of English, Processes and Means of Communication, Installation and Maintenance of Thermal and Fluid Equipment, Electrotechnical Installations, Clinical and Orthoprosthetic Diagnostic Procedures, with B2 of English, Image and Sound Techniques and Procedures.
Within the Body of Official Language School Teachers are German, Arabic, French and English.
In the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts, the specialties of Viola and Musical Language have been convened.
Within the Body of Teachers of Plastic Arts and Design, the specialties of Artistic Drawing, Technical Drawing and Graphic Design have been convened.
In the Body of Masters of Plastic Arts and Design Workshop, those of Artistic Cabinets, Photography and Reproduction Processes, Engraving Techniques and Stamping are published.
In the Body of Teachers, applicants for Music and Hearing and Language may be presented.
Finally, in the Body of Teachers Specializing in Singular Sectors of Professional Training, the Manufacture and Installation of Carpentry and Furniture and Maintenance of Vehicles are published.
To be admitted to these selective procedures, applicants must meet the same general requirements to participate in the selective entrance tests to the Corps of Secondary School Teachers and Technical Teachers of Vocational Training.
Likewise, they must meet the specific requirements established in the norm, that is, be in possession of the qualification that accredits the qualification to impart the corresponding specialty, be in possession of the pedagogical and didactic training and have not been convicted by final judgment for crimes against freedom and sexual indemnity.
The documentation accrediting requirements and merits must be attached in electronic format and the applicant will be responsible for the veracity of the documentation provided, being excluded his participation in the procedure of incurring documentary falsehood.
The Provincial Directorate may order that the applicants who participate in this extraordinary call carry out a test in the indicated specialties. These tests will be qualified with “Suitable” or “Not suitable”, not being able to be part of the list those applicants who do not exceed them.
The deadline for submitting applications will be ten calendar days from the day following their publication, that is, until Monday, September 11.
Once the procedure has been resolved, the lists of applicants that are formed as a result of this call will be maintained, for the successive school courses, until the selective entry procedure is convened for places of the same faculty and specialty.
The permanence in these lists will be conditioned by the fact that they continue to be part of them as of June 30 of each academic year, as well as the obligation to submit an application to continue in those of the following course, recognizing the score then obtained, to which will be added only, and where appropriate, that of the merits perfected and justified after the date of completion of the deadline for submission of the previous application, provided that they have not obtained the maximum score assigned to the corresponding section or subsection of the scale.
