Melilla will have a quota of 100 more teachers for this course than last year and 300 more teachers than the 2017-2018 course. It has been announced by the Provincial Director of the Ministry of Education and Professional Training (MEyFP), Juan Ángel Berbel, in El Inicio de Televisión Melilla.
“Now there are 1,625 seats, of which the Ministry has managed to consolidate 200 teachers regardless of birth, and there are 100 more to focus on attention to diversity,” explained Juan Ángel Berbel in El Inicio de Televisión Melilla.
The Provincial Director of the MEyFP also says that the Ministry is trying to attenuate the differences that Spain has with respect to countries that are a model to follow in education with the help of European funds. “I understand that education has to improve the more we invest in it, looking at the results in the medium to long term,” he said. In this regard, Berbel has reiterated that there will be better results the more you invest.
Berbel pointed out that the Ministry is working to make the education system more agile and to reach more people. “We have raised GDP from 2.78% to 4.78%,” he said. The head of the Ministry has stressed that it is improving and that it is expected to reach 7%: “We are on the right track, as a result of the acceleration with the situation of the pandemic, European funds and the implementation of innovation and professional digitalization,” he said.
