60 members of the National Police are going to be integrated in Melilla to reinforce the staffing of the Superior Headquarters of the city.
Today, four Sub-Inspectors, two Officers and 25 Police Officers, that is to say 31 officers, have been presented, while the rest, which is one more Sub-Inspector, two Officers and 26 Police Officers, will do so on August 28.
These officials will strengthen the Border Unit of the Brigade of Foreigners and Borders and the Security Group and Custodians of the Citizen Security Brigade of this Superior Headquarters.
The reinforcement of the staff of the Superior Police Headquarters of Melilla is the result of the Call for the General Merit Competition for the Subinspection and Basic Scale of the National Police.
The Government Delegate, Sabrina Moh, accompanied by the Secretary General of the Headquarters, Isidoro González, and the Chief Inspector of the Provincial Citizen Security Brigade, Eduardo Belda, in an event held today in the Government Delegation, have welcomed them to our city.

In addition, Moh has highlighted the collaboration and coordination that exists in Melilla between all the security forces and bodies that translates into higher success rates. Proof of this collaboration are many operations that are carried out in a coordinated manner such as the Feria, Christmas, Playa Segura or Operation Paso del Angolo (OPE) device, among others.
The Delegate has also made it clear that, in Melilla, there is a team of professionals at the head of the Superior Headquarters very committed “composed of magnificent professionals” so she has been convinced that the work of the officials who are integrated will be very fruitful.
Finally, Moh has ratified his support for the institution and has recalled that his support and recognition of the professionals of the State Security Forces and Corps has always come but that, since he began his stage at the head of Delegation, “I have personally verified your professionalism and vocation of service”.
The Secretary General of the Headquarters, for his part, has explained to them that the greatest specificity that Melilla has is its land border with a third country, given that all officials already have experience in other parts of the country.
