The Provincial Director of the Ministry of Education and Professional Training (MEyFP), Juan Ángel Berbel, has congratulated all the candidates who have passed the selective procedure for teaching bodies and has wished them that the internship period, which will begin in the first six months of the next academic year, will be fruitful, before their consolidation as career officials.
“Congratulations on the achievement achieved after so many hours of study and sacrifice that have found their reward in this deserved result,” said the head of the Provincial Directorate of Melilla.
As he has reported, in this call for applications, 56 places have been awarded out of the 63 that went to the competition. Specifically 9 in Castilian Language and Literature, 6 in Geography and History, 8 in Mathematics, 3 in Physics and Chemistry, 4 in Biology, 2 in French, 9 in English, 3 in Physical Education, 2 in Educational Orientation, 3 in Technology, 2 in Economics, 2 in Socio-Community Intervention, 1 in Business Organization and Management and 2 in Community Services.
To this selective process, 653 people were enrolled, with the total number of people submitted to the test being 473. "In total, 7 places have not been filled - 11% of those published -: the 5 that were competing per disability reserve, 1 free entry in Mathematics and another in the specialty of Physics and Chemistry," he reported.
Consolidation of seats
On the other hand, Juan Ángel Berbel has also congratulated the 33 teachers who have consolidated their place for the extraordinary stabilization contest, merit contest, in accordance with the provisions of Base 11 of the Resolution of November 16, 2022, of the Undersecretariat, which calls for extraordinary selective stabilization procedures for the admission through contest to the Bodies of Secondary Education Teachers, Teachers of Official Schools of Languages, Teachers Specialists in Singular Sectors of Professional Training, Teachers of Music and Performing Arts and Teachers, for places in the field of Territorial Management and Ministry of Professional Education.
In the case of Melilla, the consolidated places correspond, within the Corps of Teachers, to 2 for Early Childhood Education; 1 for Foreign Language: English; 1 for Physical Education; 1 for Therapeutic Pedagogy; 1 for Hearing and Language; and 2 for Primary Education.
In the Secondary School Teachers Corps, they have gone to the specialties of Spanish Language and Literature with 2 places; Geography and History, con1; Mathematics with 2; 1 in Drawing; 2 in English; 1 in Physical Education; 1 in Educational Orientation; 1 in Hospitality and Tourism; 1 in Socio-Community Intervention; 2 in Installation and Maintenance of Thermal and Fluid Equipment; 1 in Electrotechnical Facilities; 2 in Community Services.
In the Body of Professors Specialists in Singular Sectors of Professional Training, they have stabilized in the specialties of Aesthetics with 1 place; Manufacture and Installation of Carpentry and Furniture with 1 place; and Maintenance of Vehicles with 1 place.
In the Teachers Corps of Official Language Schools he has consolidated in the specialty of German with 1 place and, finally, in the Teachers Corps of Music and Performing Arts, they have been a place in Guitar; one in Oboe; one in Piano and one in Violin.
24 of the consolidated teachers provide services in Melilla and 9 come from outside. Likewise, Berbel has thanked the time of services provided in the city of Melilla to those teachers who have stabilized their status as an official in other autonomous communities.
Documentation of Selective Procedures
As explained by Berbel, from today Thursday begins to count the period of five working days to present to the Provincial Directorate the documentation of the candidates who have passed the selective procedures.
Specifically, it is the request of centers for the realization of the internship phase, the authentic copy of the title required for entry into the body to which it has been chosen or original academic certification or photocopy thereof that certifies having carried out all the studies to obtain the title; the affidavit or promise not to have been separated, through disciplinary proceedings, from the service of any Public Administration or to be disqualified for the exercise of public functions.
Applicants with the status of career civil servants shall be exempt from documentary justification of the conditions and requirements already demonstrated for obtaining their previous appointment, in which case they must submit a certification or service sheet from the Central Personnel Register, the General Directorate of the Civil Service or the Ministry or Agency under which they are dependent, to prove such status.
Those who have a nationality other than Spanish or dual nationality must, in addition, present certification that proves the absence of convictions in their countries of origin or of the one who is national with respect to crimes of the same nature.
Those who, within the established time limit, except in cases of force majeure, do not present the documentation or the examination of the same, it is deduced that they do not have any of the requirements indicated, shall waive all their rights to be appointed career officials without prejudice to the responsibility they may incur for the false data included in the initial application.
In August, the centers awarded to those who have passed the selective procedure will be published and in September the guidelines and deadlines for the implementation of the internship phase.
