The Delegate of the Government, Sabrina Moh, has thanked the 45 men and women of the XXXVII Promotion of the Basic Scale of the National Police who during the last 11 months have been carrying out their practices in our city.
The highest representative of the Government of Spain in Melilla, together with the Superior Chief of Police, José Antonio Togores, and the Regional Chief of Operations, José Gámez, have participated in an event hosted by the Government Delegation as a farewell to these agents who on June 2 will swear their office at the Police School of Ávila.
Moh has valued the magnificent work done by the 32 men and 13 women who have carried out their practices in Melilla and has recognized that today’s is a “bittersweet” moment given that satisfaction is mixed with the fact that they have completed their training and also that this implies the departure of these agents of the city.
The Delegate has highlighted that they have been very well used practices that have confirmed that they are great professionals and has wished them the best of luck in their new destinations. Moh has asked all of them to always remember Melilla and act “as ambassadors of this wonderful city” wherever they go.
Togores, for his part, assured them that all of them can feel proud because they have done a great job not only from a formative point of view but “responding to the needs of the day to day of Melilla”.
The Superior Chief recalled that the National Police Force is one of the institutions best valued by the citizens, so he has pointed out to the new agents that “you have to feel very proud to be police”.
