“Ceuta and Melilla are and will always be Spanish, there is no debate in this.” The Delegate of the Government, Sabrina Moh, has come to terms with the statements of the president of the Moroccan Senate.
The highest representative of the Executive of Pedro Sánchez in our city has called for the tranquility of the citizenship of both cities, given that “the position of the Government is clear and forceful” on the Spanishness of Melilla and Ceuta and has emphasized that they will always be part of the Spanish Nation.
Moh recalled that the President of the Government, the Minister of Defense, Margarita Robles, as well as other authorities have already spoken on several occasions on this matter, dispelling any hint of doubt in this regard.
“The Minister has made it clear that Ceuta and Melilla are as Spanish as Zamora or Palencia and there is nothing more to discuss on that subject,” she said. He also referred to the statements made by President Sánchez in which he said that “Melilla and Ceuta are Spanish and period”.
