Villanueva del Pardillo consolidates its positive trend in terms of citizen security, placing its crime rate more than 20 points below the average of the Community of Madrid. These data have been analyzed today during the celebration of the Local Security Board in the municipality.
The meeting was co-chaired by the Subdelegate of the Government to the Community of Madrid, Pilar Trinidad Núñez and the mayor, Eduardo Fernández Navarro, and was attended by representatives of the municipal government team; Local Police, Civil Guard, Civil Protection and Community of Madrid.
The decline in crimes against property and the improvement in police effectiveness are two of the factors that have contributed to maintaining the trend that consolidates the municipality as a safe environment, as highlighted by the Government’s deputy delegate.
Security Plan for the San Lucas Patron Festivities 2026
During the session, the security plan for the patron saint’s festivities in honor of San Lucas that will take place from October 14 to 18 has also been revised.
For these dates, the City Council will deploy a specific device with reinforcement of Local Police that will work in close collaboration with Civil Protection and Civil Guard personnel, also having the timely support of private surveillance services.
This coordinated effort aims to ensure the correct development of the celebrations that will include pyrotechnic shows, musical events, day and night running, as well as cultural and sports activities.
Trinidad Núñez has thanked the attendees for the work of planning and coordination. Finally, he recalled the disposition demonstrated by the City Council during the July fires in the Sierra Oeste of Madrid.
