- The Deputy Delegate of the Government in Madrid, Pilar Trinidad Núñez, has co-chaired the Local Security Board with its mayor, José de la Uz Pardos
- The municipality maintains a crime rate 13 points below the average of the Community of Madrid
The San Miguel 2026 Patron Festivities of Las Rozas, which will be held from September 19 to October 5, already have a security plan whose coordination has been finalized at the Local Security Board held today in the town’s City Hall.
Co-chaired by the Subdelegate of the Government to the Community of Madrid, Pilar Trinidad Núñez, and the mayor of the municipality, José de la Uz Pardos, has counted on the participation of leaders of the Civil Guard, members of the Government team, representatives of the Local Police and Community of Madrid.
The festivities will have a large Local Police device to which Civil Guard patrols will be added, especially during weekends and events with more public, and in which there will be reinforcement of company and command units.
The most important points are the exhibition grounds, together with which, as on other occasions, a medical assistance point will be established, and the area of La Dehesa, which, being a very large wooded area and on its way to the El Pinar train station, will be located to facilitate surveillance. In addition, all actions have their own self-protection plan.
The deputy delegate of the Government wanted to congratulate the Local Police and the City Council for the preparatory work carried out and wanted the parties to run normally and be a great success.
He has also praised the work of the Civil Guard, with which collaboration is very good and daily, not only at parties, as demonstrated by the security data of the municipality, whose crime rate stood at 41.6 points in the first quarter of 2026, when the average of the Community of Madrid is at 55.2 points.
In addition, several joint operations are under way between the Civil Guard and the Local Police to respond to crimes that cause greater social alarm, such as robberies in homes and establishments.
Finally, Pilar Trinidad recalled the commitment of Las Rozas in the fight against gender violence, as evidenced by the fact that the municipality is fully integrated into the VioGén system of monitoring and protection of women victims since 2022, and recalled the pending process of renewal of the Convention to adapt to the new legislation.
