§ As a novelty, if the weather allows it, an overflight of the Mirlo Formation will be carried out

The government delegate in the Community of Madrid, Francisco Martín Aguirre, presided today at the meeting in which the coordination of the security device for the events of the Day of the Spanish Constitution has been finalized, on December 6, 2025, which will be made up of about 300 members.

These will include a solemn flag raising in the Congress of Deputies and a military parade led, on this occasion, by the Air and Space Army and in which, for the first time and if meteorology allows, the Mirlo Formation will be overflown.

The head of the Citizen Security Unit, Sergio Gámez Hortal, has participated in the Government Delegation, which has been joined by representatives of the National Police, the Ministry of Defense, the Presidential Security Departments and the Congress, as well as the general sub-directorate of Mobility Agents.

This is intended to guarantee the safety of all authorities and the public attending an event “as important” as the commemoration of the 47th anniversary of the approval by referendum of the 1978 Constitution.
